Formas fundamentales de lo absoluto en la filosofía de Hegel

Abstract

Lo absoluto debe ser construido para la conciencia; tal es la tarea de la filosofía».1 En tales términos Hegel determinaba la tarea del pensar filosófico en el tiempo de Jena. Por aquel entonces, también Schelling comprendía las cosas de una manera semejante: «A la filosofía, puesto que ella debe considerar la misma unidad [absoluta], le corresponde la necesidad y la tarea de intuir de modo inmediato aquella unidad en su esencia eterna y de exponerla en la razón».2 Las mencionadas aserciones ponen en evidencia que la filosofía posterior a Kant se volvió inequívocamente un saber de lo absoluto. No resulta sorprendente entonces que el concepto de absoluto se encuentre en el núcleo del proyecto hegeliano; sin embargo, esta tesis resulta problemática, toda vez que se repara en la polisemia fundamental que afecta al nombre de ‘absoluto’, tal y como Hegel lo utiliza a lo largo de su itinerario intelectual.

The following paper aims at proposing a consistent explanatory model of Hegel speculative thinking of the Absolute. The main thesis advocates that, in Hegel´s mature writings, it is possible to distinguish three distinct forms of the Absolute, which are not three different concepts, but three ongoing determinations of the same concept presented in a speculative manner. The analysis will also elucidate the decisive role of these in relation with the organic nature of Hegel´s philosophy and with its internal systematic organization.
