Agroecología y soberanía alimentaria en la arena internacional: Agencias y organizaciones en la construcción de la cuestión alimentaria

Abstract

En el siguiente artículo se busca describir y analizar el modo en que dos categorías, surgidas en el seno de la contestación al sistema agroalimentario hegemónico, hanpermeado agencias internacionales como la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para laAlimentación y la Agricultura (FAO) y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (FAO). Paraello, se presta especial atención al rol de una organización de activistas del nivel internacional de gobierno como es La Vía Campesina Internacional (LCVI).La cuestión alimentaria refiere la producción y acceso a los alimentos que configura unacuestión social y, la agroecología y la soberanía alimentaria, emergen como una porción deesto y serán tomadas desde los propios discursos de las agencias e instituciones.El interés de esta temática cobra relevancia en un contexto de crisis alimentaria a nivel global y cambio climático.Para esta investigación, la metodología estuvo centrada en el análisis de documentos delas organizaciones, constituyendo un corpus que permite recorrer la trayectoria de las definiciones que tomamos como eje a lo largo de la última década.Como conclusión podemos arribar que, las trayectorias de dirigentes que circulan entre organizaciones de productores/as y agencias internacionales es explicativo del modo en quelos problemas de agenda enunciados desde posiciones subalternas, logran permear las directrices de políticas internacionales.

: The following article seeks to describe and analyse the way in which two categories, arising from the contestation of the hegemonic agro-food system, have permeated international agencies such as the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). To this end, special attention is paid to the role of an activist organisation at the international level of governance such as La Via Campesina International (LCVI). The food issue refers to the production and access to food, which is a social issue, and agroecology and food sovereignty, which are a part of this, will be taken from the discourses of the agencies and institutions themselves. The interest of this topic becomes relevant in the context of the global food crisis and climate change. For this research, the methodology was centred on the analysis of documents from the organisations, constituting a corpus that allows us to trace the trajectory of the definitions that we have taken as a focus over the last decade. In conclusion, we can conclude that the trajectories of the leaders who circulate between producer organisations and international agencies explain the way in which the problems of the agenda enunciated from subaltern positions manage to permeate the guidelines of international policies.
