Resumen
I read with great interest the article by Montejo et al.1 published in a recent issue of Bipolar Disorders. This study explores neurocognitive outcomes in late-life individuals with bipolar disorder (BD) by means of meta-analytic procedures. The results show medium-tolarge effect sizes (0.52 <g< 0.89) of impairment in a variety of cognitive domains including processing speed, psychomotor function, working memory, executive functions, attention, delayed recall, and learning.
