El "anarquismo argentino" en la historiografía anarquista: De la construcción de una noción centralista a la ampliación de la escala geográfica

Abstract

El artículo se propone indagar en las transformaciones operadas en la escala geográfica del “anarquismo argentino” a lo largo de más de cien años de historiografía, concentrándose en dos puntos. Primero, la construcción de dicha noción centralista durante el siglo XX, que utilizó la historiografía militante y académica para referirse al movimiento anarquista en Buenos Aires y algunas localidades del litoral y la llanura pampeana. Segundo, la ampliación de la escala de análisis en el siglo XXI, lo que permitió la emergencia del anarquismo en las provincias como objeto de estudio. A partir de este análisis y balance bibliográfico, esperamos aportar herramientas historiográficas y teórico-metodológicas que contribuyan en la elaboración de un mapa más complejo sobre el movimiento anarquista en Argentina en el período previo al peronismo, capaz de discutir con aquellas narrativas que abordaron, negándola, la historia social, política e intelectual de las clases subalternas anterior a 1945.

The article aims to examine the transformations that have occurred in the geographical scale of “Argentine anarchism” over more than a hundred years of historiography, focusing on two points. First, the construction of this centralist notion during the twentieth century used by the militant and academic historiography to refer to the anarchist movement in Buenos Aires and some locations on the littoral area and the Pampean plains. Second, the broadening of the scale of analysis in the twentieth-first century, which allowed the emergence of “anarchism in the provinces” as an object of study. From this bibliographical analysis and balance, we hope to provide historiographical and theoretical-methodological tools that contribute to the elaboration of a more complex map of the anarchist movement in Argentina in the period before Peronism, capable of arguing with those narratives that addressed, denying it, the social, political and intellectual history of the subaltern classes before 1945.
