Aproximación a la percepción de seguridad lingüística objetiva entre estudiantes, docentes y graduados universitarios

Abstract

La noción laboviana de inseguridad lingüística (1966) ha sido extensamente discutida como experiencia subjetiva (Francard et al., 1993; Bretegnier y Ledegen, 2002; Meyerhoff, 2006; Preston, 2013; Hennecke y Varga, 2020, entre otros), pero es también posible considerar una categoría objetiva para caracterizar contextos profesionales desde una perspectiva lingüístico-comunicativa (Mitchell, 2016; de- Matteis, 2020).<br />Este trabajo sistematiza las percepciones de estudiantes, graduados y docentes universitarios en torno a la importancia de sus interacciones para la seguridad de tareas profesionales a partir de un cuestionario implementado en línea en el ámbito de la Universidad Nacional del Sur. El análisis cuali-cuantitativo de las respuestas sugiere que los mayores niveles de concienciación lingüística (Garrett, 2010) y comunicativa sobre la relación entre comunicación y seguridad se registran en carreras cuyos egresados podrán desempeñarse en ambientes socio-técnicos o en las que la comunicación constituye parte esencial del desempeño profesional.
