La manifestación de los papeles actantes en una situación argumentativa del largometrage Come Sunday: Un análisis discusivo según el modelo dialogal de Plantin

Abstract

Este artículo discute la manifestación de los papeles actantes en una situación argumentativa del largometraje Come sunday (2018), según el modelo dialogal de Plantin (2008a; 2008b), con la finalidad de verificar en qué medida la fuerza argumentativa de la pregunta-cuestión recae en los discursos de la doxa, del Proponente, del Oponente y del Tercero, influenciando la manera de ser, pensar, actuar y vivir de sus interlocutores. En ese contexto, se busca establecer una relación entre los estudios de la argumentación y del Análisis del Discurso, focalizando en el discurso religioso proferido por los actores de la situación comunicativa. Para ello, recurrimos a los postulados de Plantin (1998; 2008a) y Grácio (2011), quienes conciben la argumentación como práctica social del lenguaje, en la cual los argumentadores construyen un discurso y un contradiscurso en torno a una misma pregunta argumentativa, colocándose en una situación comunicativa específica. También tomamos los aportes de Amossy (2018), sobre todo la idea de que la argumentación es parte constitutiva del discurso, por lo que todo discurso tiene una dimensión argumentativa. Así, el análisis supone, por un lado, la selección y descripción de enunciados productores de discursos antagónicos y, por otro lado, la caracterización de esos discursos en relación con los actores argumentativos. De este modo, son identificados los papeles actantes referentes a cada actuación en la situación argumentativa. Finalmente, se concluye que la manifestación de los papeles actantes mantiene una intrínseca relación con la fuerza argumentativa de la pregunta-cuestión, lo que establece un conflicto entre la doxa y los papeles actantes.

This article discusses the manifestation of the acting roles in an argumentative situation of the film Come Sunday (2018), according to the dialogic model of Plantin (2008a; 2008b), in order to verify to what extent the argumentative force of the question falls on the discourses of the doxa, the proponent, the opponent and the third party, influencing the way of being, thinking, acting and living of their interlocutors. In this context, it seeks to establish a relationship between the studies of argumentation and Discourse Analysis, focusing on the religious discourse uttered by the actors of the communicative situation. To do this, we resort to the postulates of Plantin (1998; 2008a) and Grácio (2011), who conceive argumentation as a social practice of language, in which the argumentators construct a discourse and a counter-discourse around the same argumentative question, placing themselves in a specific communicative situation. We also take the contributions of Amossy (2018), especially the idea that argumentation is a constitutive part of discourses, so that all discourse has an argumentative dimension. Thus, the analysis supposes, on one hand, the selection and description of statements that produce antagonistic discourses and, on the other hand, the characterization of those discourses in relation to the argumentative actors. In this way, the acting roles referring to each performance in the argumentative situation are identified. Finally, it is concluded that the manifestation of the acting roles maintains an intrinsic relationship with the argumentative force of the question, which establishes a conflict between the doxa and the acting roles.
