Breve Análisis de la Producción en Investigación del IFDC-SL durante el Período 2000-2019

Abstract

En el siguiente artículo se dan a conocer los resultados preliminares de la investigación "Análisis sociobibliométrico de investigaciones producidas en una Institución de nivel superior: Parte I". Se analiza la producción en términos de proyectos de investigación correspondientes a los últimos veinte años del Instituto de Formación Docente Continua San Luis. Para ello, se tienen en cuenta la cantidad de proyectos, la cantidad de directores, las temáticas, su vinculación con lo educativo, los títulos, y se establece una diferenciación entre antes y después del 2016, año en el cual se instituye una comisión que se propone regular la labor investigativa en dicha institución. Las técnicas de análisis empleadas son cuantitativas, empleándose en casi todos los casos medidas de tendencia central y análisis de frecuencias. Los resultados indican que la labor en investigación ha crecido significativamente desde el año 2016 y también se ha incrementado el protagonismo de temáticas vinculadas a educación. Además, esta se ha descentralizado al incrementar la variedad de participantes en la dirección de proyectos, que tendía a estar muy concentrada en el período previo al citado año. En próximas investigaciones se profundizará en variables estrictamente bibliométricas para el período 2016-2019.

The following article reveals the results of the research called “Social-bibliometric analysis of the research work carried out at a Higher Level Education Institution, Part I”. The production is analysed in terms of the research projects done at the IFDC-SL during the last twenty years. For this purpose, different aspects are taken into account, such as the amount of research projects, the number of research heads, the research topics, their connection with educational issues and their titles. There is a clear differentiation between the research projects done before and after 2016, when a commission was created with the purpose of regulating the research work in this institution. The analysis techniques have been quantitative, and they mostly involved measures of central tendency and frequency analysis. The results show that research production has significantly grown as from 2016 and educational issues have taken the lead in the topics chosen for research. Furthermore, research production has been decentralised as there has been a higher number and wider variety of research heads, who used to be more centralised before the above mentioned year. In future research projects, the focus will shift to strictly bibliometric variables during the period 2016-2019.
