Geografías y pandemia: Justicia territorial e investigación–acción–participativa en barrios populares argentinos. El caso de Puente de Fierro, La Plata, 2020-2021

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como propósito repensar el campo de la Geografía bajo las perspectivas de la Geografía Transformadora, las Geografías del Amor, el Poder y las Miserias, la Justicia Territorial y los desarrollos epistémico–metodológicos, éticos y praxis de la Investigación–Acción–Participativa (IAP). Para ello, expondremos linajes teórico–conceptuales y líneas de acción deseadas, proyectadas y concretadas que nos ayuden a repensar el territorio —y sus territorialidades—, en el contexto situacional latinoamericano, nacional y local, bajo tres niveles de interrelación: el primero, asociado con el vínculo histórico y actual entre la Geografía, la Epidemiologia y la Salud; el segundo, exponiendo los resultados del estudio de un caso de IAP en el Barrio Popular Fuente de Fierro, La Plata, Argentina, 2020/21; y tercero, avanzando en algunos planteos y conclusiones de territorios posibles para los barrios populares argentinos en un escenario de post-pandemia.

The purpose of this article is to rethink the field of Geography from the perspectives of Transformative Geography, Geographies of Love, Power and Miseries, Territorial Justice and the epistemic–methodological, ethical and praxis developments of Research–Action–Participatory (IAP). To do this, we will expose theoretical-conceptual lineages and desired, projected and concrete lines of action that help us to rethink the territory —and its territorialities—, in the Latin American, national and local situational context, under three levels of interrelation: the first, associated with the historical and current link between Geography, Epidemiology and Health; the second, presenting the results of the study of a case of PAR in the Popular Neighborhood Fuente de Fierro, La Plata, Argentina, 2020/21; and third, advancing in some proposals and conclusions of possible territories for the Argentine popular neighborhoods in a post–pandemic scenario.
