The left and the working class in Argentina, 1890- 1945: A comparative and relational analysis

Abstract

This article analyzes the history of the left and its links with the labor movement in Argentina between 1890 and 1945. A description of the events is not prioritized. The text makes a conceptual, historical and sociological examination of the characteristics and dynamics of the labor movement and the left from a relational point of view, explaining how they mutually conditioned each other in their strategies, programs, speeches, debates and in the intervention in the conflict social, union organization and political struggle. The comparative approach is used to study the trajectories of anarchism, socialism, revolutionary syndicalism and communism.

Данная работа анализирует историю левых сил и их связи с рабочим движением в Аргентине в период между 1890 г. и 1945 г. Не предлагая подробное описание событий, статья предлагает концептуальный, исторический и социологический анализ характера и динамики рабочего движения и левых партий, движений в их взаимодействии с целью объяснить, каким образом они влияли на выбор стратегии, программ, дискурса, дебатов, на определение своего участия в общественных конфликтах, в профсоюзном движении и в политической борьбе в стране. Анализ опирается на компаративный подход в изучении развития анархизма, социализма, революционного синдикализма и коммунизма.
