El Archivo y lo que resta: Del inventario de materiales a los restos del paisaje

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza una cartografía contemporánea a partir de la conformación de un archivo que hace de los restos y los escombros la cifra de los nudos problemáticos del presente. Nuestro desarrollo revisa y actualiza la categoría de archivo para desde allí avanzar sobre su relación con los restos. Su presencia insiste en mostrarnos la premisa fallida de la totalidad, la forma de una resistencia y con ello, la posibilidad de volver visible otro trazado histórico. Sostenemos que en el campo de relaciones que conforman espacio, archivo y restos es posible leer cuestiones vinculadas a la materialidad, al entramado de tiempos, a los regímenes de visualidad, a los procedimientos que adopta la ficción argentina contemporánea: la emergencia de nuevos territorios da lugar a otros repartos espaciales en los que asoma el revés de la mesura y la razón ordenadora del progreso (en Aira y Cabezón Cámara); la retirada del estado en el territorio corre a la par de una crisis en torno al paisaje (en Almada y Busqued). En la complejidad de tiempos que cifran los materiales degradados del presente se conjugan otros sentidos de la crisis y el desastre, otro horizonte de las políticas en torno al porvenir.

This article propose to read a contemporary cartography based on the formation of an archive that makes the remains and rubble the cipher of the problematic knots of the present. Our development reviews and updates the archive category, as a starting point to go forward on its relationship with the remains. His presence insists on showing us the failed premise of totality, the form of a resistance and with it, the possibility of making another historical trace visible. We support the statement that in the field of relationships that make up, archive and remains, it is possible to read questions related to materiality, the framework of times, the regimes of visuality, the procedures adopted by contemporary Argentine fiction: the emergence of new territories gives place to other territorial distributions in which the reverse of the measure and the ordering reason of progress appears (in Aira and Cabezón Cámara); the withdrawal of the state in the territory is concomitant to a crisis around the landscape (in Almada and Busqued). In the complexity of times that the degraded materials of the present cipher, other meanings are conjugated around the crisis and the disaster, another horizon of the policies around the future.
