El congreso de Frankfurt de 1929: La Liga contra el imperialismo frente a la estrategia del Tercer Período

Abstract

La Liga contra el Imperialismo se constituyó en 1927, luego del Congreso deBruselas, como una organización ligada a la Internacional Comunista (Comintern). Seestableció como una entidad de frente único con ramificaciones por todo el mundo: así, larepresentación en América Latina fue la Liga Antiimperialista de las Américas. En 1929 tuvolugar el Congreso de Frankfurt donde se produjo un realineamiento de la estrategia de la Ligamundial a partir de la adopción de los ejes del Tercer Período y de “Clase contra clase”.

The League against Imperialism was established in 1927, after the Brussels Congress, as an organization linked to the Communist International (Comintern). It was established as a united front entity with ramifications throughout the world: thus, the representation in Latin America was the Anti-imperialist League of the Americas. In 1929 the Frankfurt Congress took place and there was a realignment of the League's strategy from the adoption of the axes of the Third Period and the “Class against class” scheme.
