Prácticas de Cartografía Social en dos barrios de Santa Fe: reflexiones en torno al territorio

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende reflexionar en torno a prácticas de cartografía socialefectuadas en los barrios “Las Lomas” y “Santo Domingo” del municipio de Santa Fe(provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina). Para ello, pone principal énfasis en recuperar pasoa paso el proceso de producción cartográfica dando cuenta de las diferentes relacionesde poder que se entrelazan en el mismo. Este escrito se sirve metodológicamente de lautilización de entrevistas semi-estructuradas, efectuadas antes, durante y después dela instancia de mapeo; como así también, recupera registros de campocorrespondientes al taller de cartografía y reuniones posteriores con vecinos. This article aims to reflect on the practices of social cartography taking place in the neighbourhoods of “Las Lomas” and “Santo Domingo” of Santa Fe city (province of Santa Fe, Argentina). To that end, it focuses on recuperating the process of cartographic production step by step and bringing into account the different power relationships that are involved. In this paper, we use semi-structured interviews, which were done before, during and after the mapping instance. It also recovers field records that were taken at the mapping workshop and the subsequent meetings with neighbours. This work offers a new interpretation of practices of social cartography from the idea of territory, considering this, as the space mediated and configurated for logics of power. In order to achieve this purpose, it creates a dialogue between different authors involved in the Geography field to enrich the debate.
