Estado y políticas sociales: subjetividades juveniles en la pospandemia

Abstract

Diferentes colectivos sociales han sido afectados por la crisis social y económica generada por la pandemia. Entre ellos, las juventudes. Tal vez lo que más se conoció acerca de las condiciones de dicho colectivo fueron datos estadísticos. En ese sentido, sin renunciar al uso de tal información, nos interesa proponer una mirada cualitativa que parte del siguiente interrogante: ¿Cómo interactúan las materialidades –en tanto condiciones de vida a nivel objetivo- con las percepciones de las juventudes de San Luis acerca del Estado y las políticas sociales? Para ello, recurriremos a la categoría teórica de sentidos subjetivos.En cuanto a los aspectos metodológicos, utilizaremos información obtenida a través de un cuestionario realizado en el marco del proyecto de investigación (PROICO Nº 15-0418) de la UNSL: “Juventudes contemporáneas: políticas, desafíos y tensiones”. Se acudió a un formulario de Google Docs que circuló por redes sociales y WhatsApp. Se lograron un total de 87 respuestas.El texto se inicia con un acercamiento a las categorías teóricas que integran la inquietud antes señalada. Luego, presentamos los datos recolectados sobre la situación laboral de las juventudes, incluyendo, en el siguiente apartado, al trabajo no remunerado a través del concepto de cuidados, según un enfoque de género. Por último, compartimos sentidos juveniles que nos permiten algunas lecturas acerca de las políticas sociales, para concluir esbozando análisis que se pueden continuar profundizando.

Different social groups have been affected by the social and economic crisis generated by the pandemic. Among them, the youth. Perhaps what was most known about the conditions of this group were statistical data. In this sense, without renouncing the use of such information, we are interested in proposing a qualitative look that starts from the following question: how do materialities interact -as living conditions at an objective level- with the perceptions of the youth of San Luis about the State and social policies? To do this, we will resort to the theoretical category of subjective senses. Regarding the methodological aspects, we will use information obtained through a questionnaire carried out within the framework of the research project (PROICO Nº 15-0418) of the UNSL: “Contemporary youth: policies, challenges and tensions”. A Google Docs form was used that circulated on social networks and WhatsApp. A total of 87 responses were achieved. The text begins with an approach to the theoretical categories that make up the aforementioned concern. Then, we present the data collected on the employment situation of youth, including, in the following section, unpaid work through the concept of care, according to a gender approach. Finally, we share youthful senses that allow us some readings about social policies, to conclude by outlining analyzes that can continue to be deepened.
