Heterogeneidad social e institucional, interculturalidad y comunicación intercultural

Abstract

As experiências sociais que estudei exigiram o desenvolvimento de uma perspectiva analítica intercultural que amplia os campos de aplicação dos conceitos de interculturalidade e comunicação intercultural. Neste artigo, apresentamos essa perspectiva, que se caracteriza por não restringir a análise a casos de referência étnica, nacional ou linguística, mas inclui outras associadas a culturas profissionais, institucionais, políticas, além de não limitar a análise ao estudo de relações entre atores, para incluir também o de relações entre atores institucionais e coletivos.

The social experiences that I have studied have demanded me to develop an intercultural analytical perspective that enlarges the field of applications of the ideas of interculturality and intercultural communication. This article discusses that perspective, which main characteristics are that it does not restrict the analysis to cases marked by ethnic, national or linguistic referents, but it includes others associated to professional, institutional, and political cultures, as well as that it does not limit it to the study of relationships between social agents, but it also includes relationships within collective and institutional social agents.
