La receptividad del adonado en J.-L. Marion

Abstract

En este artículo me propongo aclarar la noción de adonado en Marion. Al igual que Husserl, Marion entiende que no puede oponer actividad y pasividad, ni asociar la actividad con la racionalidad, así como la pasividad con la irracionalidad. A diferencia de él, Marion otorga un papel decisivo a la pasividad no sólo en el dominio de la teoría, sino también en el de la práctica. Esta contraposición puede ser superada a partir de una noción de receptividad capaz de dar cuenta de la imbricación entre ambas. Marion advierte que en la pasividad radical debe buscarse la responsabilidad. Asumir y entregarse a ella constituye la primera respuesta a la llamada. La responsabilidad ética y fenomenológica consiste en cuestionar los límites y las consecuencias de esa racionalidad —que perpetúa el primado de la mismidad sobre la otredad—, para entregarnos pasivamente a otra lógica: la del amor.

This article aims to clarify the Marionian notion of gifted. Like Husserl, Marion understands that he cannot oppose activity and passivity, nor associate activity with rationality, as well as passivity with irrationality. Unlike Husserl, Marion understands that passivity should be granted a privilege not only in the field of theoretical reason, but also in that of practical reason. This sharp contrast can be overcome from a notion of receptivity capable of accounting for the imbrication between the two. Marion warns that it is in radical passivity where responsibility should be sought. Assuming and surrendering to it constitutes the first response to the call. Our ethical and phenomenological responsibility consist in encouraging us to question the limits and consequences of that rationality —which perpetuates the primacy of the sameness over otherness—, in order to be able to passively surrender ourselves to another logic: that of love.
