La docu(ciencia)ficción como máquina de circulación de afectos: Música, vibración y temporalidades desarticuladas en Branco Sai, Preto Fica (2014)

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el potencial político y afectivo de las temporalidades desarticuladas en el documental ficcional Branco Sai, Preto Fica (2014) de Adirley Queirós. Considerando el proyecto del director de fabular una memoria de y desde la periferia, en esta película se considera la relación singular de los personajes/actores con la performance de la música y la máquina del tiempo como “vibratoriums” que permiten una circulación empoderadora de afectos. Así, a partir del “melancolizar” y del agenciamiento del odio las dos víctimas de la violencia policial logran destruir el futuro y romper con el optimismo cruel de la utopía modernista brasileña.

This article analyzes the political and affective potential of disjointed temporalities in the fictional documentary Branco Sai, Preto Fica (2014) by Adirley Queirós. Bearing in mind the importance of fabulation for the creation of a memory from the perspective of those who were forced to live in the periphery of Brasilia, this film considers the relationships of the characters / actors with the performance of music and the time machine as “vibratoriums” that allow an empowering circulation of affects. Thus, through the active act of melancholy and the agency of hate, the two victims of police violence manage to destroy the future and escape from the cruel optimism of the Brazilian modernist utopia.
