Prisionera de la Revolución: Los orígenes del compromiso político de Alicia Eguren con el peronismo (1946-1959)

Abstract

Este artículo considera los orígenes del compromiso político de Alicia Eguren con el peronismo, una posición que se remonta incluso a cuando todavía no existía esa palabra. A partir de su propia correspondencia, la literatura militante y los testimonios de mujeres peronistas se reconstruye un tiempo bisagra en la orientación insurgente del partido, rumbo que la dirigente lideró tras el golpe civil-militar de 1955. En concreto, las memorias de la política insurgente recomponen la influencia que ella ejerció en los círculos intelectuales y militantes ligados al partido, cuyo encarcelamiento buscó silenciar su liderazgo.

This article considers the origins of Alicia Eguren’s political commitment to Peronism, a position that goes back even to when that word did not yet exist. From her own correspondence, the militant literature and the testimonies of Peronist women, a hinge time is reconstructed in the insurgent orientation of the party, a course that the leader led after the civil-military coup of 1955. In particular, the memoirs of the insurgent policy recompose the influence she exerted in intellectual and militant circles linked to the party, whose imprisonment sought to silence her leadership.
