El surgimiento de la concepción política anticorporativa del Frente para la Victoria en Argentina

Abstract

Este artículo indaga sobre la relación entre la trayectoria social y política de los principales miembros del Frente para la Victoria (FPV), fuerza política que gobernó en Argentina entre 2003 y 2015, y un tipo de concepción política que atravesó sus sucesivos gobiernos, la lucha anticorporativa. El artículo muestra sus antecedentes y orígenes en la provincia de Santa Cruz, territorio donde surgió esta organización —originalmente Frente para la Victoria Santacruceña (FVS)— hacia fines de la década de 1980 y durante la década de 1990. Se analizaron datos de entrevistas semiestructuradas, diarios y revistas provinciales, documentos parlamentarios, archivos partidarios, decretos de necesidad y urgencia, leyes y bases de trayectorias sociales y políticas. Como se expone, el carácter marginal de la elite del FVS dio forma a una fuerza política que definió su identidad posicionándose y actuando “por fuera” de relaciones de intercambio con los grupos políticos y sociales representativos de la sociedad.

This article explores the relationship between the social and political trajectory of the main members of the Front for Victory (El Frente para la Victoria), the political party that governed Argentina from 2003 until 2015, and the political thinking that this political party established through its time in office: “the anti-corporate activism.” This article analyses the background and origins of the FVA in the province of Santa Cruz, the territory in which this organization (originally called Frente para la Victoria Santacruceña) originated in the late 80’s and during the 90’s. To this aim, we analyzed data from semi-structured interviews, newspapers, local magazines, parliamentary records, party archives, necessary and urgent decrees, laws, and social and political biographies. The investigation shows that the marginalization of the FVS elite in the political landscape defined the identity of the political party. Thus, positioning the party “outside” the relations of political exchange among political and social groups that represented the society.
