Construyendo espacios comunes en el Valle de Ambato, Catamarca, Argentina: Proyecto de valorización y protección del patrimonio arqueológico local

Abstract

En este artículo se dan a conocer resultados obtenidos en los trabajos realizados junto a miembros de la comunidad educativa de la ciudad de Catamarca y Los Castillos, esta última, situada en el Valle de Ambato. Se trabajó con docentes y alumnos de nivel inicial, medio y superior, con el objetivo de conformar una red de relaciones y acciones, donde los diversos actores intervinientes aporten sus experiencias y saberes tratando de descentralizar la figura del arqueólogo en el proceso investigativo. Los resultados, si bien aún preliminares, posibilitaron constituir un entramado de relaciones donde los participantes desarrollan actividades conjuntas y desjerarquizadas persiguiendo como principal objetivo la valorización y el resguardo del patrimonio arqueológico, así como la construcción del conocimiento del pasado prehispánico local.

This article presents the first results obtained in the works carried out together with members of the educational community of the city of Catamarca and Los Castillos, this last one, located in the Ambato Valley. We worked with teachers and students of initial, intermediate and superior levels, with the objective of forming a net of relationships and actions, where the various actors involved contribute their experiences and knowledge in equal proportions, decentralizing the figure of the archaeologist in the research process. The results, although still preliminary, made it possible to constitute a network of relationships where the participants develop a series of activities together and in a non-hierarchical way, pursuing as their main goal the valorization and guard of the archaeological heritage, as well as the construction of the knowledge related to the local prehispanic past.
