Rompehuelgas: sus lugares en las comunidades portuarias

Abstract

Este artículo está centrado en la figura de ‘rompehuelgas’. En el campo de estudios sobre la clase obrera hay una vacancia en relación con la figura de ‘rompehuegas’. Por esta razón, el análisis tiene como objetivo descifrar los lugares que detenta la figura de ‘rompehuelgas’ en las prácticas y las representaciones de las comunidades portuarias en Argentina. Las experiencias analizadas refieren a dos momentos de los pasados de las comunidades portuarias argentinas: las décadas de 1920/30 y las décadas de 1950/60. Las fuentes utilizadas son variadas: periódicos, informes, estadísticas oficiales, memorias, expedientes, boletines, etc.

This article focuses on the figure of ‘strikebreakers’. In the field of working-class studies there is a gap in relation to the figure of the ‘strikebreakers’. For this reason, the analysis aims to decipher the places held by the figure of the ‘strikebreakers’ in the practices and representations of port communities in Argentina. The experiences analyzed refer to two moments in the past of Argentine port communities: the 1920/30s and the 1950/60s. The sources used are varied: newspapers, reports, official statistics, memoirs, files, bulletins, and other documents.
