Tanziflex: Herramienta software para la resolución de problemas de programación lineal

Abstract

La resolución manual de los problemas de Programación Lineal (PL) incrementan su complejidad a medida que aumentan las variables. Sin dejar de lado que es sumamente importante que el alumno comprenda los conceptos debido a la elevada variabilidad de dominios de aplicación que tienen los ejercicios, en el presente artículo se introducirá una herramienta web intuitiva denominada Tanziflex, que permite resolver problemas de PL a través del algoritmo simplex. Dicha herramienta es útil de aplicar independientemente de si la carrera terciaria o universitaria donde se lo aplica presenta una base matemática fuerte o no. Se presentarán los resultados de un caso de estudio en el ámbito universitario y las líneas de trabajo futuro.

The manual resolution of Linear Programming problems increases their complexity as the variables increase. Without leaving aside that it is extremely important that the student understands the concepts due to the high variability of application domains that the exercises have, in this article an intuitive web tool called Tanziflex will be introduced, which allows solving linear programming problems through of the simplex algorithm. This tool is useful to apply regardless of whether the tertiary or university career where it is applied has a strong mathematical basis or not. The results of a case study in the university environment and future work lines will be presented.
