La cabeza contra el muro. Geopolítica de la seguridad y prácticas policiales

Abstract

En este trabajo buscamos comprender las conexiones entre la modalidad de depredación capitalista y las políticas represivas actualmente vigentes en América Latina. En primer lugar, caracterizamos su lógica relacional desde un lugar interpretativo. Luego, damos cuenta de su vigencia en la ciudad de Córdoba, acentuando las transformaciones de la institución policial durante los últimos años. Desde este lugar, mostramos que la urdimbre que conecta segregación habitacional, discriminación racializante y represión naturalizada pinta una heterogeneidad con muchos más matices de los que admite el monocromático sentido de las políticas de los cuerpos y las emociones socialmente aceptadas y reforzadas por las prácticas del poder.

In this paper we seek to explicit the relationship between capitalist predation and the repressive regulation policies. First, we characterize their relationships, pointing out the implications that they have for the emergence of conflicts. Then we outline these relations in the city of Córdoba, emphasizing the changes that have taken place in the police in recent years. In this way, we show that the connections between residential segregation, racializing discrimination and naturalized repression, paints a more nuanced heterogeneity than the monochromatic sense that supports the policy of the bodies and the emotions.
