Coherencia partidaria del PJ y la UCR dentro de la Cámara de Diputados de la Nación Argentina (1996-2010)

Abstract

El trabajo se interesa por el grado de incoherencia ideológico-programática de los bloques legislativos nacionales Partido Justicialista (PJ) y Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) de Argentina, entre 1996 y 2010. Para ello se construyeron tres dimensiones —ideológica, programático-económica y programático-valorativa— y se calculó el índice de incoherencia para clasificar los bloques en tres niveles: alto, medio y bajo. Los principales resultados mostraron que la UCR es más coherente que el PJ; que existen divergencias entre los dos partidos, las dimensiones y los años de estudio, y que los factores mencionados por la literatura no siempre explican las diferencias en los niveles de incoherencia.

This article attempts to study the ideological and programmatic coherence of PJ and UCR in the Argentinean Congress between 1996 and 2010. For that purpose, three dimensions —ideological, programmatical-economical and programmatical-value— are developed to calculate an index of incoherence, in order to classify parties according to their level of incoherence in high, middle and low. According to the findings, UCR is more coherent than PJ; there are differences between the parties, dimensions, and years studied; and the factors used by the literature do not always explain the variances of incoherence.
