"Mensajes de todas las zonas" aludiendo la censura en la Argentina: La revista anarquista Nervio a principios de los años 30

Abstract

Este trabajo examina la emergencia y desarrollo de la primera etapa de la revista anarquista Nervio, bajo la dictadura de Félix Uriburu y comienzos del régimen de Agustín P. Justo. Por entonces se desarrollaba una intensa represión contra las izquierdas, y cientos de activistas eran blanco de la persecución estatal. Como era de esperar, las publicaciones radicalizadas fueron censuradas y proscriptas. Dentro del campo libertario, el influyente diario La Protesta apenas sobrevivió unos pocos días al golpe de Estado de septiembre de 1930, y lo mismo ocurrió con la mayor parte de las publicaciones ácratas. Así y todo, un año después Nervio se abrió paso y logró publicar varias ediciones por año: ocho números en 1931 y 12 en 1932. ¿Qué características tenía la revista? ¿Qué tipo de temáticas desarrollaba y de qué modo lo hacía? ¿Es posible relacionar los temas y su tratamiento con la persistencia de su circulación en un escenario tan adverso? Se abordan estos interrogantes examinando el contenido de la revista y su evolución a lo largo de los primeros 24 números, atendiendo a las modificaciones en el escenario político, especialmente a la retirada de la dictadura en 1932.

This paper examines the emergence and development of the first stage of the anarchist magazine Nervio, under the dictatorship of Félix Uriburu and the beginning of the Agustín P. Justo regime. At that time, intense repression against the Left was developed, and hundreds of activists were targeted by the state persecution. As expected, radicalized leftist publications were censored and banned. Within the libertarian camp, the influential newspaper La Protesta barely survived the coup d'etat of September 1930, and the same happened with most of the anarchist publications. Even so, a year later Nervio made his way and managed to publish several editions per year: eight issues in 1931 and 12 in 1932. What were the characteristics of the magazine? What kind of subjects did it develop and how? Is it possible to relate the subjects and their treatment with the persistence of the magazine in such an adverse scenario? These questions are addressed by examining the content of the journal and its evolution throughout the first 24 issues, taking into account the changes in the political scene, especially the withdrawal of the dictatorship in 1932
