Determinación de fósforo reactivo y fósforo total en un arroyo receptor de un efluente tratado

Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de estudiar y evaluar el contenido de fósforo reactivo y fósforo total en un arroyo contaminado por el efluente de un hotel. Los muestreos se realizaron en forma bimestral durante el año 2005 y en cuatro sitios de muestreo, RD (rebalse del dique a partir del cual se forma el arroyo), EH (efluente del hotel), AC1 y AC2 (ubicados a 20 metros y 900 metros respectivamente de la mezcla del rebalse y efluente de hotel). Se realizaron determinaciones de fósforo reactivo y fósforo total utilizando los métodos descriptos en el Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Wastewater. De los resultados obtenidos se concluye que existe una clara contaminación de las aguas del arroyo por el efluente proveniente del Hotel, debido a las elevadas concentraciones de fósforo encontradas. Los resultados obtenidos en este trabajo de investigación son transferidos en distintas actividades de divulgación científicas.

The aim of this work was to study and evaluate the content of reactive phosphorus and total phosphorus in a contaminated stream by the effluent of a hotel. The samplings were realized once every two months form during the year 2005 in four sites: RD (dam from which the stream is formed), EH ( effluent of the hotel), AC1 and AC2 (located at 20 meters and 900 meters from the mixture of dam and effluent of hotel, respectively. Determinations of reactive phosphorus and total phosphorus were carried out using the methods describe in the Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Wastewater. The result showed that there exists a clear pollution of the stream waters by the effluent coming from the Hotel, due to the high concentrations of phosphorus found. The results obtained from this work are transferred in different scientific conferences.
