Estados de tiempo típicos del sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Abstract

Se estudian los estados del tiempo para el Sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires y se identifican aquellos que repercuten y afectan las actividades de la población. En las áreas urbanas estos estados de tiempo provocan una acumulación de agua en calles y avenidas como consecuencia muchas veces de una inadecuada o inexistente planificación de la hidrografía urbana. Debido a las derivaciones que ocasionan en las zonas rural y urbana y los efectos que producen también en la salud de la población es que se analizarán distintas situaciones atmosféricas que afectan al Sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires. El objetivo general es identificar situaciones sinópticas típicas del tiempo que se producen en el Sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires y que generan inconvenientes en la población ya sea por producirse inundaciones, aislamientos, etc., como por su repercusión en el estado de la salud de los habitantes más sensibles a los cambios meteorológicos. El objetivo específico es analizar la situación sinóptica que corresponde a la semana del 19 al 25 de julio de 2004. Se realiza el análisis de las cartas sinópticas del tiempo para determinar las características dominantes del estado de la atmósfera. Se emplearon para el estudio las cartas sinópticas 0600Z, 0900Z y 1200Z proporcionada por la Central Meteorológica de la Base Aeronaval Comandante Espora. El análisis detallado demostró variaciones significativas en la localización e influencia de los centros de acción que no corresponde a lo que habitualmente se identifica como Sudestada en el Sur bonaerense. Por otra parte, este estudio permitió observar alteraciones de escala local de este estado de tiempo generadas por condiciones de sitio que el estudio de su sucesión temporal llevaría al reconocimiento de nuevas tipologías.

The weather condition for the South of the province of Buenos Aires and the weather characteristics which affect the activities of the population are studied. In the urban areas these weather condition often cause a water accumulation in streets and avenues like consequence of an inadequate or nonexistent planning of the urban hydrography. Due to the derivations that they cause in the rural and urban areas and the effects that not only produce in the natural scope but also in the health of the population it is that different atmospheric situations that affect the South of the province of Buenos Aires will be analyzed. The main objective is to identify typical synoptic situations of the weather that take place in the South of the province of Buenos Aires and which they generate disadvantages in the population or of taking place floods, isolations, etc., like by its repercussion in the state of the health of the sensible inhabitants due to the meteorological changes. The specific objective is to analyze the synoptic situation that corresponds to the week from the 19 to the 25 of 2004 July. The analysis of synoptic charts is made to determine the dominant characteristics of the state of the atmosphere. The Servicio Meteorológico Nacional de la Base Area Comandante Espora provided the synoptic charts for hour’s 0600Z, 0900Z and 1200Z. The detailed analysis of the meteorological synoptic information demonstrated significant variations in the location and influences of the action centers that do not correspond to which habitually it is identified like Sudestada in the Buenos Aires South coast. On the other hand, this study allowed observing alterations of local scale of this typical distribution generated by conditions of site that the study of its temporary succession would take to the recognition of new typologies.
